PROBLEM
Someone probably would love screwdriver shoes.
SOLUTION
Foot Loose is an array of bolt in screw in attachments for the shoes. Think golf spikes or springs or whatever. 10 bolt in slots, all optional. Big Toe screwdriver? Done.

The Bolt Socket Array is a ten-position threaded modular mounting interface integrated into the sole and upper structure of any compatible MTREES footwear platform, providing standardized M6 threaded receptacles at anatomically distributed load points including the heel, lateral midfoot, medial arch, and all five toe positions, with the hallux socket reinforced to Grade 8 torque specification for operators who intend to install a functioning screwdriver bit at the end of their dominant toe and use it. All ten sockets accept any standard bolt-in attachment from the MTREES Foot Loose attachment ecosystem: springs, spikes, cleats, blades, sensors, decorative protrusions, and implements that do not have a category yet but will once someone installs one and files the form. No attachment is required in any socket. An empty socket is a socket awaiting a decision. The Array does not rush the decision. The Array has ten of them and is prepared to wait.

The Shoe is the prototype footwear of the Not Vans platform: a base shoe built around the UNI Sole attachment interface and secured by the Sole Lock. On its own it is a perfectly good shoe. Its actual job is to be extended - every flavor of footwear in this forest inherits from it, swaps modules onto the sole, and ships without redrawing the shoe.
