Planet Van is the MTREES mobile habitat and large-format personal vehicle division — the taxonomy of products for the vehicle that is simultaneously a delivery system, a living space, a creative studio, a workshop, a guest room, and an argument for a different kind of life. The van is the most versatile enclosed structure on wheels ever built and it has been criminally underserved by the product ecosystem around it. Planet Van addresses the van as a platform: a steel-skinned modular volume that accepts sleeping systems, climate systems, power systems, social deterrent hardware, and at least one object that has no business being in a van but is significantly better for being there. Products here work with the van's geometry rather than against it, which is more than can be said for most factory options. The van is already the right choice. It just needs better things inside it.
