Planet Residential is the MTREES designation for the full taxonomy of home environments — the structures people sleep in, eat in, argue in, stack beer cans in, and occasionally improve. The house is the most personal node in the universe and also the one with the most deferred maintenance. Planet Residential treats the home as a platform rather than a fixed asset: a structure that accepts ecosystems, forests, and individual trees as modular upgrades rather than permanent renovations requiring a permit, three contractors, and a conversation nobody wanted to have. The trees here address the home as it actually exists — lived in, imperfect, slightly too hot or too cold, and full of things that technically work but could be significantly better. The goal is not a dream home. The goal is a home that is measurably improved by the things that are in it.
