PROBLEM

A wallet can be lost, a card can be forgotten, and a phone can die, but the backside is always present.

SOLUTION

The RFID Chip is a passive near-field communication tag in a flexible polyurethane adhesive form factor, affixed to the registrant's backside at the conclusion of the So Sure kiosk enrollment session following the closure of Arty's Curtains, encoding the registrant's unique Human Registrar identity token in a read-only NFC format compliant with ISO 14443 and readable by any compliant scanner at a range of up to 10 centimeters. The chip is passive, meaning it requires no battery and has no moving parts, and will continue to function for the lifetime of the adhesive bond, which is rated for 18 months under normal conditions and longer under conditions the documentation declines to specify. The chip stores only the identity token — no personal data — and the token resolves to the full identity record only when queried against the Human Registrar database by an authorized reader. The adhesive backing is skin-safe, latex-free, and repositionable for the first 30 seconds after application. After 30 seconds it is not repositionable. Speed of retraction is a PRO feature.
