The Knee

Type: tree | Origin: Void Component
COMPONENTS
Uni-Adapter
PROBLEM

The knee was already there. Nobody asked if it was compatible.

SOLUTION

The Knee is the MTREES modular joint attachment platform and anatomical mounting chassis for the human knee — a load-bearing hinge that has been doing its job for the entire lifespan of the patient without documentation, without a warranty, and without a single threaded interface. The Knee addresses this. The attachment point is defined. The adapter accepts what the adapter accepts. The leg continues below. The thigh continues above. The angle between them is the product. The Knee does not replace the existing joint. The Knee augments it with a standardized attachment surface so that future components do not have to negotiate with the bone directly, which has historically been an uncomfortable conversation for everyone involved.

The Uni-Adapter converts anything to anything in any size, shape, scope or situation. Every integration is different. Until now.

It occupies the exact shape, size, and mounting pattern of whatever you were actually looking for, except it does nothing, weighs nothing, and was never manufactured. This is not a bug. This is a supply chain decision. MTREES would like to thank you for your curiosity and creativity by giving you absolutely nothing to build from. Nothing to explore here. Nothing."
