The patient arrives with a brain. The brain is assessed. The assessment takes four questions. The fourth question has no correct answer and is not graded. The patient is then escorted to the installation suite where a replacement cognitive unit is fitted, calibrated to regional standards, and activated using a proprietary pill protocol that the technician describes as painless in a tone that does not invite follow-up questions. Rehabitualization does not treat the existing brain. Rehabitualization replaces it. Treatment implies the original had potential.
