Trash Can

Type: component
PROBLEM

Parking lots generate trash and the trash ends up on the ground.

SOLUTION

The Truck Pot Trash Can is a 32-gallon powder-coated steel receptacle mounted to the base collar of the Truck Pot pole body with a spring-loaded hinged door on the front face sized for standard fast food bags, which is the primary input stream at any truck stop adjacent to a highway. The lid profile is sloped to prevent the can from becoming a surface for things that are not trash. A liner bag retention ring inside the upper rim keeps the bag in place when the can is serviced without requiring the bag to be taped, tied, or otherwise committed to the can in a way that makes removal a physical challenge at 5am. The Trash Can and the Recycle Can are the same component in different colors because they are the same problem.
